Tina Reid: Photoshoot!

Location

My location for this shoot was at college in the studio as it reflected the background in Ian Phillip-McLaren's photographs. The lighting was the only thing that was altered to create the lighting of the background.

Equipment

For my shoot I used a canon 5D Camera with a Canon EF Zoom Lens 24mm - 105mm

The lighting I used was flash lighting so that I could get the right effect on the background.

Who influenced me?

This photo shoot was inspired by Ian Phillips-McLaren, The lighting was set up to create the same effect as Ian's photographs. And I recreated some of the poses and facial expressions of my model from Ian's photographs.

Health and Safety

While doing the photo shoot in the studio they was a few things to consider like the wiring in the studio, making sure it was not frayed or damaged, making sure it was PAT tested and making sure we never tripped over it. I also made sure that if any of the lighting needed moving that I got someone that was trained to move it as I was not trained in how to move it correctly and safely. While moving props I made sure that I bent my knees and kept my back straight to avoid injuries.
